Stella: God my husband went nuts he wanted to press charges. Kelly: Well you know I had a few and it seemed like a good idea at the time. I had no idea for the entire length of that training course that you were married. That night is easily the most embarrassing night of my career.

Severide declines that offer, but Casey later says that he'll be moving out sooner than Severide would expect (hinting possible next step for Stellaride, proposal even). In 9x09, Casey asks Severide, if he should move out, as his relationship with Kidd is very serious. Stella moves back in with Severide and Casey in 8x12. However, after they start dating, Stella moves out in order to maintain their relationship smooth (she feels like they aren't there, yet) ( 6x19). Severide successfully convinces Kidd not to find a place for herself. Describing Kidd and Severide relationship Apartment situationĪfter Stella got kicked out of her apartment, Severide offered her his guest room to stay ( 6x01). It was later revealed in On the Warpath, about how Severide had been mooning over Stella and how he went to her house one night singing This Love Of Mine with a rose in his mouth. Severide first met Stella during a training course at the academy. So I look up, then suddenly, there's Severide rappelling down from my skylight singing Sinatra's This Love Of Mine with a rose in his mouth. "So, late one night, I'm coming back from a tactical training course at the academy The moon was bright as hell that night, I remember I unlock my door and I hear this sound coming from the roof. Later in 9x15, Severide and Kidd are trapped in a building trying to get out. The next episode it comes known he is having doubts. In season 9, Kelly was thinking about talking to Stella about marriage but wanted to allow her to focus on making lieutenant. In eason 6, Stella tells him that anytime he needs someone to support him, she is his girl. Severide comes across as quite protective of Stella, and they become good friends during season 5. Kelly also revealed that he took an interest in her when she was married. Kidd and Severide have known each other since they did a training course at the academy, which was later revealed in Bad For the Soul.
